Victoria Maxwell’s practice focuses on estate planning and real estate law.
Vicky holds a Masters in Law from Golden Gate University in Estate Planning and Probate Law. She is an expert in using probate planning to minimize tax liability for her clients.
Vicky is also a licensed real estate broker, giving her valuable perspective on all aspects of estate planning and real estate transactions.
Born and raised in Sonoma County, Vicky is a Santa Rosa High School graduate. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Finance with a minor in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. After working in the finance field in Chicago, she returned to California to attend Santa Clara University, where she earned both her law degree and a Masters Degree in business administration.
From the real estate department of a large Silicon Valley law firm, Victoria relocated to Santa Rosa and opened her own practice. Victoria’s experience in law, business, real estate, and tax helps her to balance her clients’ best interests with their bottom line.
Among her many achievements, she successfully navigated without litigation a multi-million-dollar trust administration with multiple heirs, including foreign nationals, charitable entities, and feuding beneficiaries. In another large probate proceeding, she was able to identify and access substantial hidden assets, preserving the estate and doubling the amount of inherited assets.
As Of Counsel to Monty White LLP, Victoria manages the firm’s Santa Rosa offices.
Victoria provides volunteer services that help the elderly and underprivileged gain access to affordable legal services. She loves serving her hometown community of Santa Rosa, where she lives with her husband and two children, and enjoys spending time with her parents and in-laws.
